Purchased from a Japanese museum around 30 years ago, this 1937 Jaguar SS100 didn’t turn a wheel for 35 years.Owned by Concours of Elegance Steering Committee member and Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance selection committee member Martin Button, the 2.5-liter classic underwent considerable restoration.Since then, the Jaguar has seen miles on numerous road trips and will hit the roads of Bavaria for the four-day Concours of Elegance Germany Tour in July.Concours of Elegance Germany – where every car tells a story.Image: Martin Button

Belonging to infamous diplomat, racer, pilot, polo champion and alleged assassin - Porfirio Rubirosa - the man said to have been the inspiration behind Ian Fleming’s James Bond character.
